Canyon Road
Canyon Road is the epicenter of Santa Fe’s art world. It is a street about a half mile long near downtown that is lined with over a hundred galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Much of the art on display is of extremely high quality and is quite expensive, but there are plenty of affordable art works of every imaginable variety—paintings, sculpture, jewelry, clothing. Behind some of the galleries are lovely, secluded gardens where weary shoppers can rest and enjoy a cool drink while mulling over the many beautiful temptations for bank account depletion to which they have been subjected on their strolls through the galleries. The photographs of art works below were taken less than a year ago. Some may still be available for purchase!
